From 1982-1986 Ed held sales positions in the Banking and Retail sector. He attended college and majored in Marketing/Sales. Ed completed his college education in 1986 and received a Marketing degree. In the same year Ed took the required course and received his New York State Real Estate Salesperson License.
Ed started his Real Estate career in 1986. He first started selling Real Estate @ Marlene Goodman Realty in Island Park. The market area covered Island Park, Long Beach, Oceanside and East Rockaway. There he learned the facets of owning and running a sole proprietorship Real Estate office offering a personalized touch.
In 1987 he moved on to Merrill Lynch Realty located on Merrick Rd., Valley Stream. This was a large office that offered advanced training and its market area went well beyond Valley Stream. It included as far South as Long Beach and as far East as Merrick. Many Merrill Lynch Realty offices on the Island became Prudential Long Island Realty a couple of years later. Ed remained with Prudential Long Island Realty for a short time and worked both out of their Valley Stream and Franklin Square offices.
February 1991 to June 2003 '12 Years', Ed McNulty joined and remained with Re/Max West Realty. He worked from their West Hempstead office at first then located/helped open and managed their Valley Stream office. The market area encompassed even more areas.
In June 2003 Ed McNulty opened Ed McNulty Realty LLC in his home town of East Rockaway. Even though his immediate market area covers Lynbrook, E. Rockaway, Malverne, Valley Stream and Oceanside, he has recently marketed and sold homes as far East as Lake Ronkonkoma. Ed also buys, renovates and resells investment properties. He has an intricate knowledge of construction including heating, plumbing and electric. Buyers often tap his knowledge when considering a purchase and soon realize that many renovations are less complicated then at first thought. Sellers often call Ed, prior to placing their home on the market for home improvement ideas that would increase their net.
In November 2004 Ed added a marketing tool 'Videography' to enhance ones chances for a quicker sale at the best possible price and terms. A professional videotape is produced about your home showing both the interior and exterior. It's taken with a wide-angle lens with proper lighting then mixed with classical music. We then provide you with a large quantity of these videotapes to be given out to each buyer. The videotapes are only given out after a buyer sees your home. It's a great tool to help the buyers better remember your home then that of the competition. Furthermore the buyers now have the luxury to play back the tape over and over again. The idea is to help induce the buyer to call us before we do. We do this at no additional cost to our homeowners.
In May 2005 Ed added enhanced laser color brochures & factsheets to his promotional material.
In June 2005 Ed added Brochure boxes to all his signs. The boxes contain color factsheets of the specific home along with other homes currently on the market. The idea is to take advantage of our increasing signage and to cross market our listings for better overall exposure.
